Good article in the Missoulian from the Governor's Conference on Tourism.
What visitors to Montana want to experience (in order) are: clean water and clean air, wildlife and vistas, open spaces and dark night skies, public forests and access to lakes and rivers. Visitors want to experience wild, unspoiled places and cultures. "That," the Institute of Tourism and Recreation Research (UM) said, "is what's going to keep our visitors coming."
And that is what Travelers for Open Land delivers.
