Whitefish Vote on Haskill Basin Proposal Starts April 8
Whitefish residents will be soon be voting on a proposal to conserve Haskill Basin and the city's major water supply. From the article: If Whitefish were to lose access to Haskill Basin water, it would force the alternative of pumping and treating water from Whitefish Lake, costing an additional $500,000 annually, according to Whitefish Mayor John Muhlfeld.
