Montana TNC Receives Prestigious USFWS Award
Congratulations to The Nature Conservancy in Montana for receiving the 2015 National Land Protection Award from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It's well deserved. The award was presented Oct. 9 at the Land Trust Alliance Rally in Sacramento. This competitive award is presented annually to one nominee for significant contributions to land protection in partnership with the Fish and Wildlife Service. This year's award highlights TNC's work in the Crown of the Continent. State Director Richard Jeo (center) accepted the award from Eric Alvarez (right), Chief of the USFWS Realty Division, and Gary Sullivan of the Montana USFWS (left) at the 2015 National Land Conservation Conference in Sacramento.
