Montana Vacation Homes on the Rise

There was a 59 percent increase in vacation homes in Montana from 2000-2010, reports the University of Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research. 14,000 new vacation homes were built in Montana during the past decade. Flathead Land Trust Earns Wetland Award

Congratulations to Flathead Land Trust and all the partners in the Flathead River to Lake Initiative. The project will receive a Wetland and Watershed Stewardship Award on May 26 during a ceremony in the Montana Capitol rotunda. Flathead Land Trust has also received grants from Travelers for Open Land for the River to Lake Initiative.
