Firehole Ranch Donates to TFOL

Travelers for Open Land loves the Firehole Ranch in West Yellowstone. Owner Lyndy Caine sets aside a percentage of the lodge's income and donates it to TFOL each year. Thanks, Lyndy, for the generous donation we received this week!

Thanks to El Western and the Knight Foundation

Many thanks to the Knight Foundation out of Big Sky and El Western Cabins and Lodges in Ennis for their generous donations to Travelers for Open Land this week. It's only with the help of friends like these that we can be continue to conserve Montana's open spaces.

Vital Ground Working on Swan Valley Habitat

Missoula County Commissioners will vote Wednesday, Dec. 5, on a unique and cooperative proposal to help fund Swan Valley conservation easements that conserve grizzly bear habitat and forestland.

Bozeman Approves Open Land Project

The Bozeman City Commission approved over $1 million in trails, parks and recreation bond funding on Dec. 2 to help a diverse community partnership purchase and enhance land near the Bozeman Pond.

Grant Applications Due Tomorrow!

Travelers for Open Land grant applications are due tomorrow. We're looking forward to helping fund projects with Montana's land trusts that protect open space around our state, like this one on Flathead Lake that we funded last year.
