LWCF Receives Three-Year Extension

Congress has agreed to extend and fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund for three years. The funding level and length of the extension fall short of program goals and value, but the LWCF had expired in September and was reauthorized yesterday as part of a large congressional budget comprise. 2015 TFOL Grant Applications Distributed

2015 Travelers for Open Land grant applications were distributed yesterday, with a Dec. 30 deadline and grants awarded in January. Travelers for Open Land has awarded over $200,000 and helped fund 30 conservation projects across Montana.
