Trumpeter Swan Restoration in the Blackfoot

It was recently Swan Release Day in the Blackfoot Valley. Over 250 people gathered to support the historic restoration of trumpeter swans in the Blackfoot.

EXIT Realty Montana hosted an event for special guests to experience fly fishing in Montana on Sept. 20-22.

Max and Tina Coleman, Regional Owners of EXIT Realty Montana, hosted co-workers during their first time in Montana and their first experience fly fishing.

“We wanted our guests to really experience Montana,” Max Coleman said. “It is wonderful to get together with members of our EXIT family, relax, fish and just spend time with each other. They are already talking about coming next year and asking how we could possibly top their experience this year.”

The Montana Department of Commerce has awarded Travelers for Open Land a $15,000 grant to help improve and expand the Montana tourism and outdoor recreation industries and to provide information about land conservation and Travelers for Open Land.

State Legislator Organizing Bitterroot Bike Ride To Support Trails

State Representative and trails advocate Ed Greef is organizing a Bitterroot bike ride on Sept. 18 to help improve trail maintenance and rally support for bike paths.

From the Ravalli Republic article: "Greef, a Republican who represents House District 88 at the Montana Legislature, said his goal is to have a fun ride and experience the wonderful benefit that a paved path provides to a community. But it’s also about raising awareness to the need for a source of money to pay for maintenance of the paths, as the Legislature has not stepped up so far."
