Travelers for Open Land Helps Conserve Historic Ranch

Travelers for Open Land has awarded a $5,000 grant to Bitter Root Land Trust to help conserve 209 acres featuring important agricultural soils plus elk and mule deer habitat, on an historic ranch in Ravalli County. The Bailey Farm conservation easement has strong local support and will assist an NRCS Farm Bill program.
