Funds Approved for Sage Grouse Conservation

The Montana Sage Grouse Oversight Team on Nov. 18 approved state sage grouse stewardship funding for two conservation projects involving two Montana land trusts. The Montana Land Reliance's 44 Ranch conservation easement and The Nature Conservancy's Hansen Ranch conservation easement were both approved, and both projects work with landowners to conserve sage grouse habitat and populations.
